Gangtok: 24th March 2022 Reception/Facilation of Master Jayant Dagar Bronze Medalist, Asian Jr. Boxing Championship -2022 Sudent of Kyi De Khang Sr. Sec. School, Gangtok, Mr. Jayant Dagar, created history to became the first-ever Sikkimese Boxer to won the Bronze Medalin 54 kg Wt. Category in Asian Jr Boxing Championship at Amman's Capital, Jordan from 3rd March to 15 March 2022. 20th March 2022: Singtam  1st Singtam Open Badminton Tournament which was start from 18th  March to 20th March 2022 organized by Singtam Badminton Association (SBA) at Indoor Sports Complex, Lal Bazaar, Singtam. Today grand final of the Tournament in presence of Hon’ble Minister Health and Family Welfare Government of Sikkim Dr M K Sharma.  Area MLA/ Minister Dr. MK Sharma as Chief Patron and Suresh Tamang (Municipal President) as Patron of the tournament. Total 125 teams has participates in this tournament from all over Sikkim, Darjeeling and Kalimpong.

Sikkim boy Tseteej Shiwakoty flys to Thailand today to represent India in the prestigious and celebrated Mister Global  Rubaru Mr. India 2021 Global Tseteej Shiwakoty also the Mr. Sikkim Manhunt 2019 winner leaves for Thailand today to represent India in the 7th Edition of Mister Global. Tseteej is the first Sikkimese boy to represent India in an international pageant.  Mister Global is one of the prestigious men’s pageants of the world. The competition will witness the representatives from more than 60 countries. Mister Global Pageant is considered part of the “Grand Slam” of international male pageants, along with Mr World, Mister International, Mister Supranational and Manhunt International. It is owned and organized by the Mister Global Company Limited. The 7th Edition of Mister Global is scheduled to take place at Maha Sarahan from March 06-16, 2022.  Tseteej is a B.Sc Graduate in Nutrition and son of Deepa Sharma and Sanjay Shiwakoty.
