An awareness-cum-token distribution programme of Agriculture, Horticulture and Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Services for Khamdong constituency

Khamdong, May 31 : An awareness-cum-token distribution programme of Agriculture, Horticulture and Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Services deptts. for Khamdong constituency was held at Simik Lingzey Village Administrative Centre, today. The programme was graced by the Hon'ble Minister-cum-area MLA Dr MK Sharma, as the chief guest and the Hon'ble Minister, Agriculture, Horticulture and AH&VS Shri Lok Nath Sharma as the guest of honour. A total of five hundred and sixty one households were benefited with the farming mechanisation tools, equipment and also the financial incentives of agricultural produce under Mukhyamantri Krishi Atma Nirbhar Yojana. The celebration of the 47th State Day of Sikkim was help today at national capital New Delhi.

Date 19th May 2022 The celebration of the 47th State Day of Sikkim which began on the 16th of May, 2022 in the State capital, culminated in a grand function here in the national capital New Delhi today. A special evening dedicated to Sikkim, with the theme 'Celebration of Sikkim' was organised here at the New Moti Bagh Amphitheatre in South Delhi.  This was the first time ever that a function of the Government of Sikkim was celebrated in this scale at the national level. The function was graced by Union Minister for Culture, Tourism and Ministry of Development of North East Region (DoNER), Government of India, Shri G. Kishan Reddy, as the chief guest, in the august presence of Governor of Sikkim Shri Ganga Prasad and Chief Minister of Sikkim Shri Prem Singh Tamang. Union Health Minister Dr Mansukh Mandaviya releases NFHS-5 report

Posted Date:- May 05, 2022  Union Minister for Health and Family Welfare, Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya released the National Report of the fifth round of National Family Health Survey (NFHS-5) in the presence of Shri Bhupendrabhai Patel, Chief Minister of Gujarat and Dr. Bharati Pravin Pawar, Union Minister of State for Health and Family Welfare, at the 'Swasthya Chintan Shivir' being held at Vadodara, Gujarat today.  The report comprises of detailed information on key domains of population, health and family welfare and associated domains like characteristics of the population; fertility; family planning; infant and child mortality; maternal and child health; nutrition and anaemia; morbidity and healthcare; women’s empowerment etc.  The main objective of successive rounds of the NFHS has been to provide reliable and comparable data relating to health and family welfare and other emerging areas in India.
